The Art Explora Festival makes a stop in Tangiers
The Art Explora Festival, with its magnificent museum boat, will be in Tangier from 20 to 29 September 2024
The Art Explora Festival is a traveling cultural event that takes place in Tangier and other Mediterranean cities. The free-to-attend festival offers a rich multidisciplinary program with a variety of artistic experiences, including visits to museum ships and exhibition pavilions.
Through a rich and varied program, the Festival highlights the cultural treasures of the Mediterranean, combining exhibitions, performances, screenings and workshops, while encouraging exchanges and encounters within these vibrant cities.
In Tangiers, the Festival will take place on board the museum ship, but also alongside the quayside in a series of exhibition pavilions and convivial spaces, as well as in various emblematic and historical sites such as the Port Centre (Bab Diwana) and the Exhibition Space dedicated to Ibn Battouta (Borj EN-NAAM), with a rich program combining exhibitions, virtual reality, performances, conversations, film screenings and concerts… The Festival offers a wide audience a unique and immersive experience that showcases the cultural and artistic riches of the Mediterranea,
The Explora Art Festival in Tangier broke all records for attendance, with more than 100,000 people coming from Morocco and abroad visiting the festival.
